Plumtree Hall provides sheltered retirement accommodation for up to 15 residents in a Grade 2 listed Georgian mansion surrounded by extensive mature gardens in the village of Heversham, approximately six miles south of Kendal, Cumbria.

The aim of Plumtree is to provide a warm friendly and safe environment which offers each resident the maximum possible choice, privacy, respect and independence.

Residents furnish their apartments with their own personal possessions; they lead their own lives and come together for the main meals of the day, which are prepared by the resident housekeeper and staff. Midday and evening meals are provided in the dining room, while residents are responsible for their own breakfast (provisions provided). 

As a Retirement Home, Plumtree Hall is unable to provide personal, medical or nursing care, but residents may arrange these services from external sources if required.
